To open your doors in the midst of a recession is brave, but that’s exactly what cousins Ian Preston and James Baker did in 2008 when they took on a Bairstow Eves franchise in York, North Yorkshire. Despite the recession, they bucked market trends by being relentlessly determined to achieve results that made a difference to home movers.
When the franchised arm of Baistow Eves was sold in 2011 to a national agency, it was time to go it alone. Preston Baker was born and in quick succession, we opened offices in York, Selby, Oakwood and Headingley in Leeds.
